Work Progress of CFC, SFURTI – Machkhowa Red Rice Project, Dhemaji
Work in progress of building the Common Facility Centre (CFC) for the Machkhowa Red Rice Project is going on at full swing. Soon the artisans and beneficiaries will have a common platform where their products will be tested, raw materials for the product will be kept and the final product prepared before it is sold in the market.
The aim and objective of the SFURTI scheme are to organize clusters for traditional industries, artisans and crafts and to develop a financially sustainable model for them. It was started with the intention to uplift the artisans working in the traditional industry and to provide them with the expertise to survive in the competitive market.
