An exhibition cum sale was organized and funded by NABARD in accordance to National Handloom Day which was celebrated from 12th to 15th August 2022.

Weavers, and artisans displayed their products by setting up stalls from various districts of Assam which included RGVN Grasslooms, Clusters and SHG’s from Morigaon under our ERI projects.

National Handloom Day on 7th of August every year highlights how the handloom industry is a part of our heritage and empowers people who are working in this sector. The majority of the weavers in this industry are women, so the day becomes an important opportunity to give recognition and appreciation to them.
