WORKSHOP ON AGRICULTURE & WATER RESOURCES – ASPIRATIONAL DISTRICT PROGRAMME – NITI AAYOG
The Aspirational Districts Programme focuses on 112 of India’s most developmentally challenged districts across sectors such as health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, basic infrastructure, financial inclusion and skill development.
The Aspirational Districts Programme has been instrumental in creating a conducive environment to foster development and innovation across key focused areas.
It is apparent the agriculture and water resources sector has received a great push under the Aspirational Districts Programme. District administrations have laid tremendous emphasis on improving irrigation facilities and yield, as well as farmer education. Several innovative paths have been charted out to create market linkages for products indigenous to the aspirational districts.
RGVN’s concerned team under the Aspirational District Programme held a District level workshop on Agriculture & Water Resources last week at Baksa Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall in presence of ADC Shri Ashraful Amin Sir, Asst. Commissioner Shri Jayanta Dutta and department heads of Agriculture and Water resources, Baksa.
