A training on capacity building was held at Bosco Reach out under the
above mentioned project. RGVN’s Executive Director, Assistant Director, Agriculturists and other concerned members were present in the training.

Capacity-building is the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world. An essential ingredient in capacity-building is transformation that is generated and sustained over time from within; transformation of this kind goes beyond performing tasks to changing mindsets and attitudes.

As an Implementing Agency RGVN builds the capacities of grassroot level institutions like SHGs, NGOs, Cooperatives and Farmers’ Clubs. Trainings are carried out in the field of motivation, OD, group formation, governance, leadership skills, financial literacy and book keeping. Capacity Building for Institutional Development is central to building strong institutions among the poor and vulnerable. The training are carried out by RGVN personnel or through partnerships with other resource organizations.
