A Free Eye Screening and Checkup Camp was held on 14th May 2023 at Hograpara, Assam in collaboration with Gauhati Lions Eye Hospital and Sreemanta Sankar Mission, Guwahati as a part of the RGVN KNH Byrnihat Project- “Chusokani“. The focus of the event was mainly on cataract patients, who will receive a no cost surgery for cataract correction, along with medicines and treatment from the Lion’s Eye Hospital, as a part of their social initiative. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, with people of all ages coming together to prioritize their eye health and receive preliminary screening of their eyes.
