About the Project:
“Promotion of Farmers Producers Organization”- It is a project initiated for the promotion of two Farmer Producer Organisations at Morigaon district, Assam, in livestock i.e. piggery.
Project Activities:
- Promotion of two Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in the district of Morigaon, Assam, namely, –
- “Sarba Unnayan Samiti”
- “Monoha Anchalik Krishak Samiti”
- Guiding and handholding of the newly-formed FPOs by RGVN which is the Producer Organisation Promoting Institution (POPI).
- Initiation of backward and forward linkages for input supply and sale of output to the potential clients.
